Tennis Children's Books

I've written and illustrated two storybooks to inspire and educate children around tennis:

Rosie Rabbit and her Racket is an original picture storybook for children aged 3-7 that I wrote and illustrated.

It tells the story of a rabbit who one day finds herself a racket under a tree and the joy and adventures that she has and friends she makes with this new favourite thing!

I wrote the story as a way of getting children inspired about tennis through their reading. I also used my experience as a Level 3 Tennis Coach to thread throughout the story some key foundational skills that little ones are taught as they learn to play - balancing, bouncing, swinging, hitting and rallying.

The illustrations in the story are all prints of original watercolour paintings that I created for this story

With the book comes to a little booklet Be More Rosie: Challenges for You. This little booklet runs through some exercises on the back of reading the book your child can try to develop their tennis skills

The book is A4, printed in layflat format. It is 48 pages with an 8 page booklet . There are also some special edition hand embellished A5 formats available on request

`There is space at the front of this book to add your childs name which I can do on request

Have you met this Black and White Cat?

Have you met the Black and White Cat is my second tennis themed storybook for children aged 3-7 that I wrote and illustrated.

It tells the story of a Black and White Cat who can be seen day to day at the tennis club and it's secret talents that no-one knows about (spoiler this cat is an unlikely tennis star in the making).

I wrote the story as a way of getting children enthused about tennis through their reading . This book was inspired by a Black and White that roams around the tennis club I work at daily, that the children love- especially when he makes his way onto tennis courts sometimes during group lessons on a Saturday morning!

The illustrations in the story are all original and drawn by myself digitally on an iPad.

The book is soft back, 24 pages in length and 250 mm x 250mm.
